License Agreement

Simple, straightforward licensing for all your creative projects.

Commercial License Overview

When you subscribe to Designious, we grant you a commercial license for all assets you download during your active subscription. This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable, and is subject to the terms on this page and our Terms of Service.

You can use our assets to create products for sale, client work, and commercial projects without paying additional royalties or licensing fees, as long as you follow these terms.

What You Can Do

  • Print-on-demand products (t-shirts, mugs, posters, phone cases, etc.)
  • Marketing materials (flyers, brochures, social media graphics)
  • Website and app designs (UI elements, backgrounds, illustrations)
  • Physical products for sale (stationery, packaging, merchandise)
  • Digital products (templates, presentations, video content)
  • Client projects and commercial work
  • Unlimited end products with no additional fees
  • Modifications and customizations to fit your needs
  • Use on items for resale such as t-shirts, fabric prints, posters, stickers, mugs, calendars, and similar products with no limit on print runs

What You Cannot Do

  • Reselling or redistributing assets in their original form (for example, as standalone vectors, clip-art, or design elements)
  • Reselling or redistributing individual elements on their own, even if only slightly modified, without incorporating them into a new, original design
  • Providing files in a way that allows your customers or end users to extract and reuse the original vector assets (for example, EPS, AI, SVG source files), unless we expressly agree in writing
  • Using assets in an online or offline design tool, editor, or “design creator” that lets your users build designs directly from our assets, unless you have a separate written agreement with us (such as via our API)
  • Creating competing stock graphic libraries, marketplaces, or asset packs that primarily consist of our assets
  • Sharing downloaded assets with non-subscribers or with people who do not have their own valid license or subscription, other than as necessary to produce a permitted end product (for example, with your printer or manufacturer)
  • Registering unmodified assets as trademarks, logos, or service marks
  • Using assets in unlawful, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content, or in a way that is reasonably considered offensive, harmful, or misleading
  • Claiming ownership of the original asset files or representing our assets as your own stock library

License Duration

Once you download an asset during an active subscription, the license for that specific asset remains valid even after your subscription ends, provided you continue to comply with this License Agreement and our Terms of Service. You can continue to:

  • Use assets in projects started during your subscription
  • Continue selling products created with those assets
  • Maintain existing client work and commercial projects

However, you cannot download new assets without an active subscription. If a payment related to your subscription or order is refunded, reversed, or charged back, the license for any assets downloaded under that payment automatically ends and you must stop using those assets.

Attribution

Attribution is not required but always appreciated. If you'd like to credit us, simply mention "Graphics by Designious" or link to our website.

Merchandise & Print-on-Demand

Our license is specifically designed for creators who sell physical products. You can use our assets on unlimited products across any platform including (but not limited to):

  • Etsy, Redbubble, Teespring, Printful, Printify, Amazon Merch
  • Your own e-commerce store or website
  • Physical retail locations
  • Custom orders and bulk production

Team & Multi-User Access

Each subscription is for use by a single individual (one natural person). You may not share your login details or account. If you need to share assets with team members, each person should have their own subscription or a team/enterprise license. Contact us for team or enterprise licensing options.

Full License Terms

The following terms provide additional detail and govern your use of Designious assets. In the event of any conflict between this overview and our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will control.

1. Grant of License

Subject to full payment of any applicable fees and your ongoing compliance with this License Agreement and our Terms of Service, Designious grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the assets you download during an active subscription for the permitted uses described on this page.

This license is granted to you as the account holder only. You may not assign, sell, rent, lend, gift, or otherwise transfer this license or the raw asset files to any other person or entity, except as strictly necessary to create and deliver permitted end products (for example, sending files to a printer, manufacturer, or client for production).

2. Single Elements, Templates & Redistribution

Many of our products include both complete compositions (for example, finished t-shirt designs) and single elements (for example, icons, characters, or isolated illustrations). To protect the value of our library:

  • You may use templates and compositions as they are, or as part of a new design you create for yourself or a client.
  • You may edit and customize templates and elements to create new original artwork and end products.
  • You may not resell or redistribute single elements or small groups of elements on their own (for example, as clip-art, icon sets, or stock vectors), even if you have changed colors or made minor edits.
  • Single elements must be incorporated into your own original designs or compositions so that your customers cannot simply extract and reuse our assets as a substitute for buying a license.
  • You may not provide assets in formats that allow end users to extract the original vector artwork (such as raw EPS, AI, or SVG source files), unless we have given you written permission to do so.

3. Online Editors, Apps & Design Tools

You may not use our assets in any web-based or desktop design application, template builder, or "design creator" that allows your users to build or customize their own designs by directly selecting or combining Designious assets, unless:

  • you have a separate written agreement with us (for example, via our developer API or an enterprise license), or
  • we have expressly approved that use in writing before you launch the feature or service.

Standard use in your own projects, for your own clients, or on your own websites and products is permitted, as long as your end users cannot directly access and reuse our assets as a stock library.

4. Content Restrictions

You may not use Designious assets in any way that:

  • violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity;
  • is hateful, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise reasonably considered offensive or harmful;
  • promotes or depicts self-harm, violence for its own sake, or illegal activities in a positive or instructional way;
  • spreads malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other malicious code;
  • is used to send spam or other abusive or deceptive communications.

5. Sharing with Clients & Vendors

You may share files containing Designious assets with your clients, printers, manufacturers, or other vendors solely as needed to create or deliver a permitted end product, provided that:

  • they are not allowed to use the assets independently of your project or to create their own products or designs; and
  • they do not claim any ownership or licensing rights in the underlying assets, and cannot extract the original vector files for reuse as stock or clip-art.

6. Termination

If you fail to comply with this License Agreement or our Terms of Service, your license to use Designious assets may be suspended or terminated. Upon termination, you must:

  • immediately stop using the assets;
  • remove the assets from any new projects or listings; and
  • delete or destroy any copies of the raw asset files in your possession or control.

If a payment for your subscription or order is refunded, reversed, or charged back, your license to use any assets downloaded under that payment automatically ends, and you must stop using those assets.

7. Changes to this License

We may update or modify this License Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of our website, services, or assets after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using our services and assets.
