Credits
Monthly allowance, per-action costs, and usage history for Studio tools.
Credits
Studio credits pay for AI-assisted preparation actions — vectorizing, removing backgrounds, upscaling, and analyzing uploads. SVG Recolor is not billed per run.
Open Billing (/home/billing) to see your balance, allowance, reset date, and recent activity.
Monthly allowance
Pro subscribers receive 300 credits per monthly credit window. This applies to monthly, yearly, and legacy multi-month plans — the allowance refreshes each month within your subscription period, not once per year.
Lifetime members do not receive automatic monthly credits. They retain library and download access.
Credit costs
Costs are shown on each action button before you run it.
| Action | Credits | Approx. runs @ 300 |
|---|---|---|
| Vectorize | 18 | ~16 |
| Remove background | 18 | ~16 |
| Crisp upscale | 15 | ~20 |
| Image analyze (metadata) | 5 | ~60 |
SVG Recolor, Uploads storage, and browsing the library do not consume credits.
Image generation and describe/enhance tools are planned for a later phase and are not in the current Studio UI.
Reading your balance
The credits card on Billing shows:
- Current balance vs period allowance
- Progress bar and percentage remaining
- Credits used this period
- Reset date for the next window
Below the card, Credit activity lists recent transactions with action labels and links to related uploads where applicable.
When credits run out
If you have no credits:
- Free users see an upgrade dialog when running process tools.
- Subscribers see a message with a link to Billing to review their plan.
Check whether the source file is worth processing before batch work — credits are most useful when the output saves time downstream.
Tips
- Remove backgrounds before vectorizing when the art sits on a solid backdrop.
- Upscale only when resolution is the real blocker.
- Use Analyze (5 credits) selectively on uploads that need metadata, not on every file in a batch.
