Upscale
Increase image resolution with a crisp upscale and side-by-side preview.
Upscale
Upscale increases the resolution of raster artwork while preserving detail. Use it when a source image is too small or soft for printing, mockups, or larger design layouts.
Open Upscale from Studio → Upscale (/home/studio/upscale) or from the process menu on an upload.
Supported files
PNG, JPG, and WebP only. Add files by drag-and-drop, browse, import from URL, or from Uploads.
Controls
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Upscale | Runs crisp upscale. Costs 15 credits. The cost is shown on the button before you confirm. |
| Clear | Resets the workspace |
| Download | Saves the upscaled PNG |
The current Studio UI uses crisp upscale only. There is no mode picker on this page.
Preview
The comparison view shows Original and Upscaled side by side. Check edges, lettering, texture, and fine details at the size where the artwork will actually be used.
Upscaling works best when the source already has enough structure to improve. It cannot fully rebuild detail from a tiny, over-compressed thumbnail.
Credits and access
Upscale costs 15 credits per run (~20 runs at the 300-credit monthly allowance).
Workflow tips
- Upscale before vectorizing when resolution is the main blocker.
- Place the result on a product mockup before committing to print.
- Keep the original upload so you can compare versions in Uploads.
