Uploads
Store artwork, import from URL, manage versions, and launch Studio tools from your personal library.
Uploads
Uploads is your personal artwork library inside Studio. Every file you add here can be opened, processed, tagged, and versioned without leaving Designious.
Open Uploads from Studio → Uploads (/home/studio/uploads).
Add files
You can add artwork in several ways:
- Upload button — select one or more files from your device
- Drag and drop — drop files onto the Uploads page or the window while Uploads is open
- Import from URL — paste a direct image link to fetch into your library
Supported formats
| Format | Uploads | Vectorize / Remove BG / Upscale |
|---|---|---|
| PNG | Yes | Yes |
| JPG / JPEG | Yes | Yes |
| WebP | Yes | Yes |
| GIF | Yes | No |
| SVG | Yes | No (use SVG Recolor instead) |
Limits
- Up to 100 files per selection
- 10 MB maximum per file
If a host blocks URL import, download the file locally and upload it instead.
Browse and organize
The grid shows your uploads with paging (Load more loads additional pages). Use checkboxes to select items for bulk actions:
- Select all / Clear selection
- Delete — optionally delete related versions in the same action
Click an item to open the detail modal with metadata, preview, and actions.
Detail modal actions
From the detail view you can:
- Edit description, tags, and other metadata
- Run Analyze to auto-fill metadata (5 credits)
- Open the process menu for raster tools (Vectorize, Remove background, Upscale)
- Open SVG Recolor for SVG files
- Download the current version
Version history
When you process an image, the result is saved as a new version linked to the original. Version groups let you compare outputs and return to an earlier result without re-uploading the source file.
Context menu
Right-click or use the item menu to:
- View details
- Recolor (SVG only)
- Process (raster tools)
- Delete
Tips
- Remove backgrounds before vectorizing when the artwork sits on a white box or photo backdrop.
- Use Analyze sparingly on batches — each run uses credits.
- Keep the original upload even after processing so you can try different tool settings later.
